Background

David is both a research scientist and a photographer with residencies in both Seattle and the Bay Area of California. The history of photography is replete with examples if image capture without a camera. This work is from his scanner series where he uses a computer and scanner with photosensitive materials in a darkroom setting. “Day by day, I find the world to be a truly amazing place. These images are my attempt to communicate that feeling.”
