Background

Originally from Montana, Jan began her art journey at UM Missoula. Unable to decide between interior design and psychology, she obtained a liberal arts degree, but went on to get a Masters Degree in psychology. Her work as a psychotherapist soon evolved into that of a fulltime mom, then teaching art in her kid’s classrooms. Soon her art became a passion for glass art, starting with stained glass, but moving on the complicated art of fused glass, where color, design, texture, and shape change with each piece.
