Background

“I am interested in the fragile relationship between nature, the elements, and the passing cycles of time.” Her recycled fish sculptures are iconic, rustic assemblages of salvaged wood, flotsam, and metal from the beaches. They reflect playfulness capturing marine habitat. She has studied art in Mexico, slept in driftwood shelters in Alaska, and travels with an improvisational theater group as well as teaching about the environment.
